Good Weekend.

So this weekend was a good one. On Friday after class I headed out to Calotypes practice. Did that for a while then headed out to the beach to skate & hit up a nice blunt.

So we left the beach and went down to this spot off the beach. It's some crazy ass jersey barrier going upwards. The ground is hella rough so you either gotta mash or use the little sidewalk and ollie over it to grind. I chose to mash the shit outta my board on the hard ass ground to get a frontal grind whilst The Hen chose a back fitty. We both landed our shit so we were pretty stoked. There was this little random black kid Lil' D there and he was runnin' all over the place and shit. Hella weiirrddd....

So we left that spot and skated the up ledges that were close by. I managed to get a sweet ollie off the thing and after hella long, a kickflip. I gotta go back now to get more shit on that ledge, it's pretty fun.

So after that, we decided to call it a skate day. Hen went home, Pat & I went to San Bruno to chill at Vicki's. The next day we went to a BBQ at Meesha's. It was hella sick, Moana was there and the rest of Meesha's family. Then Gonz and Jon came down and hung out. Richard Kelly showed up as well. Just drinking hella beers and sippin' on Jack Daniels which was endlessly supplied by Moana. It was a cool day to just chill, plus the weather was pretty fucking great. Can't wait for Summer...

So this weekend was a good one. Hopefully the weather gets better so I can get more skating done and chillin'. Whatevs. We'll just see what happens...
